各年の1月1日から12月31日の間にJCEHに掲載ないし未掲載でも採択可とされたoriginal articleのうち、理事長と編集委員会によって優秀論文と判定された2編の論文に対し（該当論文なしの場合もありうる）、理事会の承認を得て、総会で理事長賞（賞状と賞金）を授与します。ただし、会員が筆頭筆者であることが必要条件となります。会員からの積極的な投稿をお待ちしています。
